Sharing on Facebook

There are a number of different ways that you can share your tutor profile on Facebook, including:

  • Commenting on request for help posts
  • Posting in groups
  • Posting on your own timeline

What?

Now that you have already reached out to your friends to help you build some business, it is time to move on to your Facebook network. By this time, it has been a couple days since you updated your work status to include GoPeer (and made your profile link easily accessible), making it the perfect time to post more formal announcements about your tutoring abilities.

Why?

You never know which of your Facebook friends, their friends, or their friends’ friends need your help. Therefore, posting on your timeline (or in groups) to announce that you are “Open for Business” is a great way to get the word out to all of your extended connections.

How?

We've made this as simple as possible and can all be done through the app (or on the web if you choose).

How?

Through the web...

  1. Find the appropriate place you'd like to post (e.g. your timeline, friend's timeline, Facebook group, page, etc.).
  2. Add a blurb (see examples below)
  3. Paste your profile link: {copy & paste the unique link to your profile}
  4. Rinse, lather, repeat 😉

What to post?

Post preview example:You can now share a link that will take students directly to your tutor profile on the web. This link will also display rich content from your profile when you post it on Facebook, Messenger, and Twitter, or when you send it through text.

*NOTE - see both of the following videos: After you insert your link, wait for a second, then delete the link. You will still see the preview appear. This will make the post look nicer. *See the following video for clarification.

Once again, we are here to help you out if you are unsure about what to say or have any questions at all 😀
