How To Get Paid

πŸ“«All you need to do is "Bcc" ethanb@gopeer.org on each email that you send

*Cc means carbon copy and "Bcc" means blind carbon copy. For emailing, you use Cc when you want to copy others publicly, and Bcc when you want to do it privately. Any recipients on the Bcc line of an email are not visible to others on the email (E.g. the teacher you send the email to will not see that ethanb@gopeer.org also received the email.)

It is a requirement to Bcc ethanb@gopeer.org so that the GoPeer Team can accurately track the number of emails you send and initiate payments promptly (within 24-48 hours).

Why?

Not only do your formers teachers have excellent access to the students who need your help, they also have an incredible amount of influence over them. Imagine if you were struggling in a class and your professor told you about a former student of theirs who could help you out (and that your first lesson would be completely free)... Now replicate that across multiple classes, with multiple students struggling in each class, and you have yourself a thriving student base.

How?

  1. Email the teacher you had for each of the classes you tutor
  • We created the following template for you to use when reaching out to past teachers. While we have seen success with this TEMPLATE, it is simply a template. Therefore, it is important that you alter it to fit your unique voice.
  • If the teachers(s) have any questions about the company, feel free to direct them our way for answers. If you'd like, you can Cc our Co-Founder & CEO ethan@gopeer.org on the email and he will personally respond to answer any questions.

2. Sharing your profile to the class πŸ—£Β

From our experience, there are three things that make this type of presentation successful:

  • Keeping it concise. No one wants to read a pre-lecture lecture. Just introduce yourself, hit the key points and be done.
  • Highlighting your qualifications. Really sell them on why the should spend their hard-earned cash on you. If you have experience tutoring the class, talk about the success of past clients. If you do not, talk about your own success in the class.
  • Send your unique profile link. Make sure you get your profile link into the hands of students so they have information on how to set up a session with you. Tap here to learn how to find your unique profile link
  • Emphasizing the two free lessons. Finish the message by letting them know that they get two lessons with you (or anyone else on the platform for any class) completely free.

Make sure to let the teacher know that students can enter the code FREE120 for two free lessons!

*As a tutor, you are still paid in full by GoPeer when a student uses a promo code to get free lessons

P.S.

(Optional: You can screenshot/download the PDF flyer and attach it to the emails that you send)
